When you buy gifts, buy "MADE IN USA".
To end the present recession that started with the financial implosion during 2008, we need to create millions of new jobs.

YOU, the consumer, can help by buying products made in the USA. When you buy holiday presents for your loved ones, make the effort to find ones that are made by Americans. You may have to pay a little more than for the cheap imported stuff at Walmarts, or Toys´R-Us, and other chain stores. But you will have the satisfaction of buying good quality products, and knowing that you are helping to restore the American dream. Amazon.com now allows you to insert "made in USA" in the search box, next to the Department and any other qualifier.

When you go to a retail store, demand to be shown American made products. If enough of you make this request, store management will take notice.
I have been told that some Home Depot branch managers have started labeling US-made products in response to frequent requests. Amazon has also taken notice.

I apologize to my readers who live in other countries, but the message applies to you, also. Just insert the name of your country in place of USA. Your country is also suffering high unemployment as a result of the global recession.
